Media should correct their Mistakes-Gurumurthy
‘MEDIA SHOULD CORRECT ITSELF’
Kochi:Shri Gurumurthy said that it’s high time that media corrected itself.
“The rape incident of a nun at Jambuva in Madhya Pradesh was reported widely by the media. However, it failed to correct itself when the fact was revealed by the inquiry. The media that shows unprecedented interest in reporting incidents in the name of human rights violations, never corrects itself. It has turned to express its own view rather than reflecting the views of the public,†he said At a media seminar on national security organised by the Sree Guruji Birth Centenary Celebration Committee here on Sunday.
Gurumurthy said that the media in the country takes the support from Western agencies and is under a colonial mindset.
