‘Vettinirathal’ in Bengal

Keralites cannot forget the great media pictures of the present CM on his ‘vettuniruthal’ programme. The great reclaiming programme was taken out by the Marxist party led by Achuthanandan to recover paddy field that had been converted for other purposes like planting other crops.

Today we have visuals of a new ‘vetiniruthal’ programme. Surprisingly this is being done by the Marxists party in Singur, Bengal. They are taking over farmers land for providing land for a TATA motors factory.The farmers clashed with police and now the attacks are spreading all over the state. The Trinamool Congress is trying to cash in on this struggle of the farmers and now even Medha Patker is there. Won;t be far before film actors like Aamir Khan also enter the fray.

The speaker Somnath chatterjee criticized the Trinamool congress for attacking institutions in the state. He probably has not seen what the SFI does in Kerala even on the slightest pretext of attacking the government when not in power.
