Press Council of India warned Indian Express

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti had earlier protested against the anti-hindu artist MF Husain for his nude paintings of Hindu Deities. The huge rallies organised by HJS had forced even the secular Congress Government to consider arresting MF Husain for hurting the Spiritual Sentiments of Devout Hindus and Hindu Community in India and abroad. After the artist had absconded and hidden abroad in an unknown place, the secular bandwagon headed particularly by the pseudo-secular media began publishing articles against HJS blaming it for “suppressing creative expression” or targeting Husain merely because he was a muslim. Recently, HJS protests led to cancellation of Saffron Art Gallery exhibition of MF Husain’s paintings.
