Karat in Fools Paradise

published on November 9, 2007

Bush is a fool, says Prakash Karat: US President George W. Bush on Wednesday came under severe attack from the CPI(M), which described him as a “fool” for comparing Russian leader Lenin with the likes of Osama bin Laden and Adolf Hitler. “He (Mr Bush) is a fool. I have heard that a few days ago he said Lenin, Hitler and Osama Bin Laden were alike,” CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat said addressing a function here to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Russia’s 1917 October Revolution.

I don’t think Karat is referring to the meaning given in Item No. 4.

By all standards, Karat who calls Bush a fool is himself a fit candidate to be called a fool.

Bush has to his credit the backing of his people, he was, after all, elected President under the laws of USA. Karat can make no such claim to being a popular choice.

Karat is an adorer of Chavez of Venezuela, a frequent attendee of tutorials held in China on china-tern and the dying communist movement which has lost all ideology. Karat is also a staunch supporter of Chinese national interests even though he claims to be a citizen of Bharatam that is India.

It is a pity that Karat does not explain why he considers Bush to be a fool. Karat may be well-versed in the works of Lenin but the lack of knowledge about Soviet history is not enough to call Bush a fool.

What is wrong in bracketing Lenin, Hitler and Osama? In Bush’s book they are all terrorists who indulge or indulged in mindless violence and certainly, all three of them are no votaries of democracy.

Karat’s view of democracy may be different, calling it dictatorship of the proletariat, but Bush is entitled to his view of democracy and his opposition to those who have no respect for democratic values.

Karat is too small a fry for Bush to include K in the bracketed three-some.

Maybe, Karat wants to go down in history as the sole communist who seeks to cling to power as the only be-all and end-all in life. Else, he would not be supporting an Antonia to lead the nation of Bharatam.

I call Karat, the fool because he has no clue as to the communist ideology. Comintern is dead; chinatern seeks to take its place. Karat will go into oblivion with the chinatern which is destined to bite the dust, as Bharatam emerges as Bharat mahaan to take on the military dictatorship called China and to create, under Bharatam’s catalytic role, an Indian Ocean Community, governed by dharma.

Does Karat, the fool know the meaning of dharma according to Kapila Muni’s vais’eshika sutra?
