Modern Trends among Christian Imitators

via GSK Menon published on December 26, 2007

I regularly keep watching the various Evangelical channels to keep track of the new imitations being indulged in by the Padres. Nowadays they keep copying Hindu bhajans. Many of them are cut and paste jobs, the name of the Hindu god is substituted by the Desert god, it is as simple as that. In some songs the tunes and lyrics are straight lifts.

The Padres have also acquired a new fascination for Chingari Melam, now in every Church function this temple music is a must. Do not forget that these were the people who were ridiculing such Hindu practices and converting gullible Hindus. In fact the use of musical instruments is banned by the Desert religion.

Any use of instruments was strongly opposed by the Church fathers (See Ferguson, Encyclopedia of Early Christianity, 630-631) The reason being that the use of instruments tendsto put an emphasis on the sound, the artistry, the entertainment – thus leading participants away from communication directly with God.

Calvin and many other reformers opposed the use of instruments.

Thomas Aquinas, the great Catholic theologian about 1250, strongly opposed the introduction of instruments. The division between Churches of Christ and the Christian Church was primarily over this issue.

Singing is authorised but instruments are not.
Refer: I Cor. 14:15; Eph, 5:19; Col. 3:16; James 5:13; Acts 16:25.

See how are Padres are making these converts to play temple music in Churches and copy Hindu religious songs verbatim. The Desert gods must be boiling with rage for they are known to be intolerant.

I Cor. 11:23 – to correct the Corinthians departure from the proper way to take the Lord’s Supper, Paul said “for I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you” so you are “guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord” for having worshipped improperly.(v.27)

Hearing Chingari Melam, the Desert gods must be rotating 360 degrees in their graves.
