Bill passed for ‘Minority Participation’ in Devaswom Temples

Thiruvananthapuram: In their ongoing attack against Hindu Society in Kerala, Anti Hindu Minister Sudhagaran presented the bill to appoint staff in Devaswom Board through PSC. Although opposition congress members made a ritualistic opposition, the Bill was passed.

Since the day one Atheist Minister Sudhagaran took charge of Devaswom Board, He is on a war path against Hindus and Temples. He is the person specially appointed by AKG centre to fullfill their long time hidden agenda to bring Temples under the control of party offices.

This bill is to aid Muslims and Christians too to infiltrate into the offices which administer Temples. What is happening in Kerala is a naked violation of the constitutional rights granted to its citizens. When Muslims and Christians in the state can administer their own Religious places, why the Politicians want to meddle with Hindu Temples?

Although Hindu organisations were fighting relentlessly to liberate Temples from Government clutches all the agitations were in vain so far and the Communists are forwarding with haughtiness to curb the religious rights of Hindus. There are many positive cases in which Judiciary warned Government’s not to interfere in Temple issues. Hindu organisations should seek legal help to liberate Temples and protect them from destruction under the hands of Anti Hindu baiters like Sudhagaran and C.K.Guptan

Who should manage temples? A  secular government or devotee who comes to temples for worship? This is a basic question that has been raised by Kerala’s Hindu society. It is ridiculous that political parties belong to the left and the right, that talk day in and day out about decentralization of power and people’s participation, forget these principles when it comes to management of Hindu temples? On the one hand, power is being transferred to the people through programmes like ‘janakeeyasuthranam.’ People’s participation is ensured both in planning and implementation of programmes. It is regrettable that the government is trying to concentrate the power to manage temples in its hands at a time of decentralization of power. If this government believes in democratization and decentralization of power, it should transfer the right to manage temples to the devotees.

In 1924, Hindus agitated for the right to walk on the road near the Vaikkom temple. In 1931, a historic agitation for temple entry took place in Guruvayur following which the temple entry proclamation was made in 1936, Yes now one more proclamation is needed for  ENTRY INTO TEMPLE MANAGEMENT
