Why Asianet Silent on Marxist Gunda attack on their Journalists?

Thiruvananthapuram: Even after several pleas from the side of Media, no action were yet taken against those who had attacked Asianet News Reporter and Cameraman. The reason is simple, those attacked to Asianet team are local DYFI Gundas and the Quarry owner at Pattimattom is one of the main sponsor of the Party in the area. 

But its quite surprise to see that Asianet which proclaims it’s Mottos as Truth and Valour is keeping silence about the Red Political clout which is preventing the arrest of those who attacked their reporters brutally!

For the Kerala visual media Kannur violence is a two sided coin with CPI(M) on one side and RSS on other. In Pattimattom Asianet is victim and CPI(M) are convicts but in Kannur there are no victims both are convicts! Strange are the ways our Media manipulates the facts to meet their needs.

Can we say Asianet – CPI(M) are equally responsible for this incident? Hope the channel bosses would have now realized the real nature of CPI(M) when their own journalists faced it. They should understand this is the situation in Kannur also. Innocent RSS activists are targeted by CPI(M) criminals and being protected by Police as you witnessed now in Pattimattom.
 
Inspite of clear evidence that the attack against Asianet team was done by well known CPI(M) criminals, yet Asianet ‘identified’ them  as ‘PARAMADA GUNDAS’ (Quarry Gundas) not as CPI(M) criminals because Asianet is fully aware about the  consequences from CPI(M) if they dare to say the truth.

When the Kerala journalists can not protect their own staffs from this one sided attack by CPI(M) how can they blame all political parties are responsible for political violence in Kerala. When the journalists conducted the protest marches & public meeting on 19/03/2008 it was attended by all political party leaders except CPI(M), why?
 
The protest march done by the whole journalists was simply a drama because if they are really interested to arrest the culprits, they can be arrested within 24 hours. If the whole Kerala media decides (except Kairali & Deshabhimani) to boycott CPI(M) / LDF till the culprits are arrested, you see the result. Pinarai Vijayan will come and shower apologies. But you never do so because more than 60% of journalists working in various visual / print medias in Kerala are either active members or sympathizers of CPI(M).
 
If you really wanted to protect your people from the attack of CPI(M) criminals, do the protest seriously and change your affiliation towards the outdated ideology and be impartial in reporting the facts.
