Row over Kairali channel airing molestation clips of CPM woman MLA, deepens

Thiruvananthapuram: If there held a poll on which is the
most substandard programme aired by Malayalam TV Channels, A Majority of
viewers will vote for Kairali TV ‘s programme ‘SAKSHI’

 

This programme’s success among CPM sympathisers is by airing
substandard video clippings of CPM’s political opponents. The programme is also
used by Kairali Team to humiliate those who stand behind Chief Minister
Achuthanandan and keep distance from party secretary Pinarai Vijayan

 

Now the party Channel is facing the ire of Communist
sympathisers itself as they aired a clip through ‘SAKSHI’ which exposed how a
CPM woman MLA Lathika from Meppayur is being molested by CPM local leaders in
front of Chief Minister Achuthanandan while inaugurating a function in
Kozhikode

 

The MLA says the photos are fabricated and purposefully
aired by the Party Channel to tarnish her. Being a CPM associate for a long
time MLA knows very well how well the CPM  machinery are well versed in maligning opponents
personality.

 

As the pressure mounted SAKSHI – Which Humiliated their
Political Opponents by indulging in cheap video gimmicks, is now taken off from
the air!
