: Police arrested a Madrassa Teacher in connection with the rape attempt on an eight year old girl studying in his Madrassa. He is remanded under Judicial custody for 2 weeks.

This Paedophile Jihadi named Moideenkutty hails from Kondotty in Malappuram district was working as a Madrassa Teacher in Payyoli.

He was charged under Section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code.
