1st Australian Hindu Youth Conference

Hindu Youth Australia is a social organisation committed to strengthening the identity of Australian Hindus, especially the youth. 

At the Hindu Youth Forum, held at the 2nd Australian Hindu Conference in April 2009, many youth have expressed a number of concerns and requests, including:

. The distinct lack of unity amongst various Hindu groups
. Loss of identity for this and future generations due to misunderstanding, confusion and lack of information
. Being racially stereotyped in social and professional circles due to media misconceptions and misrepresentations
. Desire to integrate dharma into their Australian lifestyles
. The need for community support from the wider Hindu community 

In response to this call, we are hosting a conference to bring together different Hindu community groups and take decisive action on issues concerning us as a community.

On behalf of Hindu Youth Australia, we would like to invite you to participate as a delegate in the Inaugural Australian Hindu Youth Conference, with the details as follows:

. Dates: 10-11 of April, 2010
. Location: University of Western Sydney,
. Theme: “The Dynamic Spirit of Youth and the Development of Leadership Amongst Australian Hindus”.

. Cost: $20 to cover the catering for both days. 

Here’s a taste of what will be taking place at conference:

. Learn How to do a Practical Pooja in 20 Min
. Participate in morning pre-conference yoga classes
. Enjoy morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea on both days and a special

“Chaat Networking Night” – all food is 100% pure vegetarian!

. Develop your leadership skills, and create plans to improve the future of Hindu’s and Australians
. Join a panel discussion with key government representatives
. Relax and watch professional performances, trivia quizzes, and

lots of entertainment …and much much more!!!
