‘Your own ease, comfort and safety comes last, always and every time’ – But for whom?

published on June 23, 2010

Unlike Jihadi attacks in other parts of India, Jihadi attack at Jammu and Kashmir is a daily routine. One more army officer has to pay his valuable life while he was on duty to protect the Nation from Jihadi terrorists.

Colonel Neeraj Sood, commanding officer of 18 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), was on Tuesday critically injured in a gunfight with Jihadi militants in Saiwan village in Lolab Valley, about 105 km from Srinagar.

“Reinforcements have been rushed to the area. Searches in the area continue,” as per the army report.

Let us all pray to god to give strength to his family to withstand this big loss, and also to give more strength to our forces to prevail upon the Jihadis.

Here Goes the Motto which guides our brave soldiers – Go through it and think twice –

Why such sacrifices are not hitting the front pages of Mainstream Media – Within the comfort zone  provided by our defence forces , We are busy with World Cup football, Cricket, Petty Gossips and unrealistic reality shows.

The safety, honour and welfare of your country,
come first, always and every time.
The honour, welfare and comfort of the men you command comes next.
Your own ease, comfort and safety comes last, always and every time.
