Why the Moral Brigade mum over Varghese fake encounter murder?
The whole National Media, Ruling Congress, their favourite Communist, Human Right organizations all are up in arms against Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi citing a encounter case.
The double standards of these opputunistic’s were once again witnessed now.The whole lot is silent on a similar case which is under trial in a special court in Kerala. There are enough reasons why this case is not highlighted.
CBI who was enquiring the Murder of Naxalite leader from Kerala, Varghese, informed Special Court that Verghese was not killed in an encounter with the police as informed earlier but in a fake encounter.
The incident happened on 18th February, 1970 in Waynad district of Kerala under the regime of a coalition involving both CPI and Congress! C.Achutha Menon of CPI was the Chief Minister and former congress stalwart K.Karunakaran was the Home Minister
After the killing, body of Varghese was made to lie on the floor with a gun in his hand. Police officers Vijayan and Lakshmana alleged that Verghese was killed in an encounter with the police. The police, after the enquiry, wrote it off as a killing in the encounter. But, when Late Police Constable Ramachandran Nair who killed Varghese, approached the court with confession, it was exposed to the public. CBI took four years to complete the enquiry and to submit the final report recommending to take case against Vijayan and Lakshmana.
Fake encounters to wipe out Anti National elements is an open secret among all, If the motives of those who crying for the blood of Modi is sincere, First they should stay away from politicizing the issue and look into all allegations came up so far irrespective of the colour of the flag.
