THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three construction workers at the ISRO unit at Valiyamala were taken into custody by the police following a brawl on Sunday night.

According to the Valiyamala police, the three were taken into custody after they were engaged in a brawl inside the ISRO premises in a drunken state. The three were identified as Ameer Khan and Anwar Hassan of West Bengal and Shajahan of Gujarat.

Anwar Hassan and Shajahan were released after they proved their identity by producing electoral identity cards. Ameer Khan has been kept in custody as he could not produce any document to prove his identity. A case was also registered in this connection, police said.
