We told you so !
As the whole world debated as to what the Pope meant in his controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammed, the Indian press looked up to the RSS.
The media seemed to be running in circles as to why the Sangh Parivar was not responding to the remarks. The Sangh and VHP leaders stuck to their view that it was not something they wanted to comment on. The pope is responsible for what he said.
But the irony is to extend the media went to try get something from the Sangh leaders when they had dozen hundred odd priests and imams all over the country to interview.
When the pope spoke on religious intolerance in India and when the earlier pope came to India and called for open conversion every word the Sangh Parivar said was used maliciously against them they were tarnished as communal forces. Today when the Pope has remarked some of the views of the Sangh Parivar, the media has again turned to the Sangh Parivar.
On islamic terrorism, Bangladeshi infiltration, unethical demographic imbalances, unwarranted conversion activities, all the Sangh can say is “WE TOLD YOU SO”
