Voice Against Violence – An anti-terror alert CD released by Andhra Cops
Hyderabad, July 30:
An anti-terror alert CD, Voice Against Violence, was released in Telugu, English and Hindi on Wednesday. This is to alert the public to take precautionary measures to prevent bomb blasts, said the city commissioner, Mr B. Prasada Rao. The commissioner requested the public to be vigilant. He also said common man should inform the police station or dial 100 if they notice any suspected persons moving in and around, unclaimed vehicles parked for a long time, suspected articles like tiffin boxes, suitcases, wooden boxes, travel bags and gift articles left unattended at bus stands, railway stations, markets, shopping malls, hotels, theatres, parks and other public places.
The police commissioner ordered for the installation of Public Address Systems, immediately, at all the business establishments like shopping malls, cinema theatres, bus stands, railway stations and all public places, to play this audio CD, every half an hour. He said that it is being made as a compulsory licensing condition.
