Vivekananda Yoga Peedom to provide scholarships

PALAKKAD: The Vivekananda Yoga Peedom Charitable Trust will provide scholarships to 15 poor students for studying up to 12th standard from each district in the state beginning from the academic year 2007-08.

Managing trustee Unnikrishnan Padikkal and trustees Pratap and Krishnadas told mediapersons here on Tuesday that all the schools would be informed about this decision.

They said that for the summer vacation they have planned to begin classes on stress management and concentration improvement for the students from 8th standard.

They said that the trust has also planned to conduct treatments based on yoga therapy.
