Vishal Hindu Samavesha at Belgaum
BELGAUM: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will organise Vishal Hindu Samavesha here on January 7 to eradicate terrorism from the country and to check the internal differences of castes in Hindu religion, said noted industrialist and president of Welcome Committee Suresh Hundre.
Disclosing this to reporters here on Monday, Hundre said that the Samavesha was being organised as a part of birth centenary of Mahadevrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar who is popularly known as Shri Guruji.
He said that Shri Guruji was the second all-Bharat chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (1940 – 1973).
Hundre said that the samavesha had an aim to create an awareness on the preciousness of Indian culture which was eroding, as the youth were getting attracted toward western culture because of television.
“It also targets to ban on foreign industries which are taking over the Indian market,†he said.
Hundre said that RSS had formed Shri Guruji Janmashtabdi Samaroha Samithi (SGJSS) to conduct the Samavesha that would be held at 4 pm at Sardar High School ground on the said day.
He said that Pujya Sadhvi Rutambhara of Uttar Pradesh would be the chief speaker. Mangesh Bhende of North Karnataka and Vivek Ghalsasi of Solapur would speak, he added.
Hundre said that Gurusidda Mahaswamiji of Karanjimath, Basavprabhu Mahaswami, Shivasidda Someshwara Shivacharya Mahaswamiji, Swami Chittaprakashanand Saraswati of Arsha Vidya Kendra, Belgaum, Shraddha Chaitanya Didi of Chinmaya Mission Ashrama, Belgaum, Yukteshanandaji Swami of Ramakrishna Ashrama, Belgaum and L B Nilajkar would be present
