Vidya Bharati to file criminal case against Arjun Singh

NEW DELHI: Vidya Bharati, largest educational network in the country has decided to file a criminal case against Arjun Singh for accusing the RSS-run schools of spreading communal hatred.



Vidya Bharati was reacting to the statement made by the HRD minister saying, “The RSS runs its schools under the banner of Saraswati Shishu Mandirs, they spread poison through these schools and it is the responsibility of all of us to stop this poison.”



The remark has hit the Vidya Bharati where it hurts the most. The Vidya Bharati is planning to launch major counter campaign starting with a court case.



Shri. Dinanath Batra, VP of Vidya Bharati  said,  “I have directed my Vidya Bharati unit to file a criminal suit against Arjun Singh for the irresponsible statement that he has made, which is totally baseless.”



Meanwhile, various Hindu organizations including BJP are documenting what is being taught in Madrasas across the country. They say they will take their report to the Parliament and embarrass Arjun Singh’s Congress.
