VHP stages massive protest against Kerala Govt’s decision to acquire land of Sri Aila Temple in Uppala, Kasaragod
Uppala, Kasaragod August 30, 2106: Hundreds of local residents joined the Hunger-Strike protest organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) against the decision of Kerala Government to acquire the land (Aila Maidan) of popular Sri Aila Durgaparameshwari Temple of Uppala, near Manjeshwar of Kasaragod in Northern Kerala.Â
VHP alleged that there is a political conspiracy behind the decision of taking the Aila Maidan by the govt authorities. Sri Mohanadas Swamiji of Manila Matha, RSS senior functionary Gopal Chettiyar, Socio-religious leader Kuntar Ravish Tantri and others participated in the hunger-strike.
