VHP slams SASB for employing non-Hindus
Jammu, Jul 19 (PTI) The Jammu and Kashmir unit of VHP today slammed Shri Amarnath Shrine Board for employing a large number of non-Hindus and demanded that it should employ educated youths belonging to the community. “It is very unfortunate that SASB is not giving jobs to educated Hindu youths…Instead, it has a employed a large number of non-Hindus,” JK VHP chief Rama Kant Dubay told reporters here. “If Muslim Boards like Wakaf and Awquaf and Sikh Prabandh Boards do not employ members from other communities, how SASB gave jobs to non-Hindu members?” he said. SASB should employ educated youths belonging to Hindu community, he said. The VHP also demanded setting up of SASB office complexes in Jammu and Kashmir. Dubay said it is shocking that the Board, which conducts Amarnath yatra – one of the biggest pilgrimage in the country, does not have its own office complex and operate from Raj Bhawan premises.
