Torturing of Indians by Maldivian Muslims

Thiruvannathapuram: Torturing of Indians by Maldivian Muslims continues, those who falls victim for the torture this time are  Sree Kumar(26) from Karakkonam in Thiruvananthapuram district and Antony (45) from Eranakulam.

SreeKumar was beaten up and scored with a paper cutter by a group of local Muslims while going to work at Male Airport on Saturday morning. Sreekumar, who has around 36 stitches on various parts of his body including the head and face has been admitted to the Karakonam Medical College. Shiv Sena leaders arranged all help for him in Airport and later took him to Medical College.

This is the second attack on Indians reported from Maldives after about 70 Indians, several of them Keralites, returned in May with horrible stories of torture by Muslims. At that time it was only Shiv Sena who cared to lodge protest marches against the incident.

The Indian embassy in Maldives is least concerned with the torture and deportation of our citizens.
