Tirupur tense following Jihadi’s targeting Senior RSS leader
Jihadi groups try to make Deepawali-an unhappy Deepawali
Jihadi elements attacked the Tiruppur Jilla Karyawah (Secretary) of RSS Sri Anandan with sickle and iron rods on head, jaw and back vigorously while returning home on his motorcycle on 6.11.2012. Â
is reported to be that Anandan is out of danger now. It is learnt that he was receiving threats since two months. Of the several complaints lodged with the police, only one was accepted for action now. Around 1600 angry Hindus, staged demonstration seeking protection for Hindus and urges ‘strong arm of law’. BJP, Hindu Munnani and other parivar organisations participated in the demonstration. “The state government has failed to maintain law and order. The culprits, who attacked the RSS functionary, should be punished severely. This incident indicates the inefficiency of police,” said C P Radhakrishnan, a senior leader of BJP.
Muslim outfits tried to link the attack of Anandan, District Secretary with an incident to some youth assaulting 61 year old woman and her grandson, which was categorically denied by both. Recent report says that his shop of Kovai Uba Nagar Karyawah Sabari was set ablaze around 3 a.m. yesterday. A chain of incidents indicate that jihadi outfits are out to create an atmosphere where this years’ Deepawali will not be a happy Deepawali for Hindus of the District.
