Thousands of People who took
Tata- Sky connection just to watch Amrita TV raised this issue with higher
officials. For more than a week the following was the standard reply send by
Tata team to those who protested..

Thank you for
contacting Tatasky.

This is with
regards to your email highlighting your concern over the withdrawal of Amrita
TV Channel and your request for the channel to be put back on air.

You will
appreciate that there is unlimited availability of content from various sources
and carrying all the available content entails huge cost and result into poor
quality of services. Tata Sky DTH platform like any other DTH platform has
Limited Transponder Capacity which constraints/limits the capacity of carrying
all the available channels. In order that we should use the limited transponder
capacity on the platform sensibly we have dropped certain channels that have
low or no viewership.

We frequently
use subscriber feedback to modify our channel offerings thus ensuring delivery
of the best offerings to subscribers.  We endeavor to balance the varied
viewing interests of consumers on an all India basis vis-à-vis specific
preferences while simultaneously providing the best quality services at the
best prices. For the benefit of our valued subscribers we will continue to
offer new and popular channels while dealing with capacity constraints

Thus the
decision of withdrawing certain channels including Amrita TV channel has been
done in order to balance the viewing interests of consumers on an all India basis to
provide best quality DTH services.

We thank you
for your feedback. We definitely plan to introduce many more exciting channels
with the best possible content. We will send you alerts as soon as we do.

When subscribers
started cancelling Tata- sky package and when they started getting more emails
requesting to refund the amount they paid for the box- Those who played foul in
the helm were forced to oversee the lame excuses which they cited and started
airing the favourite Channel of Thousands of Amma’s Devotees.

It was an
open secret that Pro Hindu Channels like Amrita TV were removed as per the
wider conspiracy of Missionaries. Inclusion of Manorama Channel at the expense
of Amrita TV was a clear indication of that conspiracy.
