New Delhi: Demanding a court-monitored investigation in the Sunanda Pushkar Tharoor’s death case, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Sunday said that he will be filing a PIL within the next four weeks.

Swamy further said that if Sunanda’s death is unnatural then there must be a full case trial on the matter.

He also said that he has given a four-week notice to his government at the Centre.

Swamy has maintained throughout that there was a foul play in Sunanda’s death. He had earlier said that there was evidence that former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor’s wife was murdered using Russian poison, adding that he had the proof to support his charges.

On the other hand, Tharoor had rubbished Swamy’s claim and said that he has stopped taking BJP leader seriously.

Pushkar was found dead in a five-star hotel in Delhi days after she was engaged in a verbal spat with a Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar on a social networking site, suspecting her of having an affair with her husband. However, Tarar had denied the allegations.
