Statewide bandh in Karnataka today against ‘Congress’ Governor

Bangalore: BJP called a statewide bandh today protesting against ‘Congress’ Governor HR Bhardwaj’s unconstitutional action against state government as directed by the Congress center leadership.

Bhardwaj’s had earlier sanctioned for prosecution of chief minister BS Yeddyurappa.

BJP declared it would fight legally and politically against the governor’s sanction which it described as unconstitutional and politically-motivated.

“The governor is carrying on his political agenda through his office and trying to breathe life to Congress”, BJP State unit president KS Eswarappa

He said Bhardwaj should tender an unconditional apology to the people of the state for his offensive remarks made against the government.
