Tamilnadu state BJP has launched ‘Thamarai Yatrai’ (Kamal Yatra) to popularize the demand for extension of Scholarship scheme for Hindu students which only the minority students receive. This is discriminatory and will create differences among children and hence it should be extended to Hindu students to cover all communities. So far, the state government has kept a calculated silence over this demand that is getting louder by the day.
