published on June 26, 2008

Thrissur: The left over oil from hotels used for frying Meat and Fish are now being repacked in new bottles as oil for lighting lamps. This shocking report is revealed by Mathrubhumi daily.

Mathrubhumi report confirms that such oils are unknowingly used in Temples and for lighting daily pooja lamps in each Hindu home.

Strict action should be taken against those who are behind this; Hindu organisations should come forward against this wicked move. Temple authorities and Devaswom should make sure that never to be lured to buy such adulterated products for temple use.

Special thanks to Mathrubhumi daily for exposing this alarming tendency.
