Shivraj Patil hell bent to prove his ‘SECULAR CREDENTIALS’

via HK published on January 2, 2008

Bhubaneswar: Home Minister Shivraj Patil who visited the riot hit areas of Orissa, limited his trip to those villages were Hindus have retaliated but smartly omitted the villages were Hindus were brutally attacked and lost their houses by the combine attack of Christian and Maoists.

Shivraj Patil opted to visit Barakhama village instead of Brahmanigaon which was worst hit. ‘The home minister is welcome to visit any place he likes but at the same time it is unfortunate that he did not visit or speak to victimized Hindus” Told BJP State president Suresh Pujari

Recently Shiv Raj Patil is trying hard to win the heart of Sonia Maino to prove his ‘SECULAR CREDENTIALS’. Shiv raj Patil lost his chance to become Congress’s President Candidate as he was a devotee of Sai Baba. Instead Prathiba Patil who rejected Anti Conversion bill while she was Rajasthan Governor grabbed the seat in Presidential election.

Shivraj Patil who learnt that to survive in Christian Congress party his faith in Hinduism will not help instead he also should learn the art of Minority appeasement. He successfully performed his first show to get the titleship as a ‘Secular Leader’ in Kerala during his last visit. Then he dined and wined with the church leaders and pledged them to provide reservation for converted Christians and assured about taking a liberal attitude while scrutinizing the foreign funds coming for conversion for their NGO’s.

He was supposed to be a chief guest in recently held Sivagiri Pilgrimage, but in fear of getting tarnished of his neo Secular image, he conveniently cancelled the visit. Todays performance in Orissa will sure gain him more marks in the books of Christian Congress’s Supremo.
