Hyderabad: A 24-year old woman hailing from Bangalore was sent to Saudi Arabia on work by a broker in Hyderabad, but there she was sold to an Arab Sheikh, who abused and thrashed her, Headlines Today reported.

The broker, named Farida, told her about a baby sitting job in Saudi Arabia and trapped the woman by saying that the job will fetch her a handsome salary. But instead of Saudi Arabia, the woman landed in Qatar, and the broker’s agent in Doha sold her to an Arab Sheikh for around 2 lakh rupees.

The victim managed to escape from the clutches of her tormenter and is now back in Hyderabad and demands justice against the broker.
