SC Warns, Prez rule in TN
NEW DELHI: Supreme Court on Monday threatened the dismissal of the TN state government and warned that contempt of court proceedings may be initiated against Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for dismissing the court’s stay on Bandh call.
SC asked the central government why president’s rule could not be imposed in Tamil Nadu if the court’s order could not be implemented. AIADMK who filed the case gave evidences for shut down in TN inspite of court directive. State owned buses were completely off from the roads through out TN
