SC rejected stay plea by Christian Mafia centre
New Delhi: Supreme Court rejected the plea filed by Muringoor Christian Mafia centre to stay the Kerala high court directives for enquiry into illegal activities of the centre.
Kerala Police registered an FIR on April 28 th against the Centre with severe charges including the murder of 975 inmates in last 10 years. Supreme court noted that the enquiry is progressing in the direct direction and there is no need to stay the police investigation.
But SC also noted that Police should seek the permission of court prior to any arrest in this sensational case.
