Coimbatore, Dec 15

Tamil Nadu Hindu Munnani Leader, Mr Ramagopalan today said that the Hindu organizations in the country would launch an agitation to save the “Rama Sethu”, the bridge believed to have been constructed by Lord Sri Ram between Dhanushkodi and Sri Lanka, from the proposed Sethu Samudram project.

He said that the pictures taken by the INSAT had proved the existence of the bridge under water and added that he would welcome if the project did not affect the ancient structure submerged in the sea.
