Sabari Saranasramam Trust to be inagurated on 15h of November

All arrangements are moving as per plan for starting functioning of “Sabari Saranasramam Project” at Laha,Vadasserikkara on November 16th (Vrischikam 1) 2009. Although occassional rain is a challenge, by the grace of Swami Ayyappa the semi permanent structure at the site will be ready before Nov 16th. As of now following arrangements are expected be ready under the Sabari Saranasramam and Ayyappa Seva Samajam during this season
 
1) “Annadanam” for all devotees visiting Sabari Saranasramam site. This will be inagurated by Sabarimala Melsanthi Vishnu Namboothiri on 15th Nov 2009. Sabarimala Melsanthi along with other more than 100 ayyappa devotees, on their way to Sabarimala (to take charge as melsanthi) will visit Sabari Saranasramam Project and inagurate the annadanam by taking food from there. We are expecting some of the dignatories including District collecter (of Pathanamthitta) to attend this function along with office bearers of Ayyappa Seva Samajam, Sabari Saranasramam Trust, Ayyappa Seva Sangam etc. It is also decided to have similar annadana kendrams in Erumely and other 50 important temple centers of Kerala. Also we are fortunate to have  a place at Sannidanam also to serve the devotees. A detailed plan on this is given on the attached presentation
 
2) First Aid facilities : It is expected that there will be a medical center at Sabari Saranasramam Site. Minor cases will be treated there and for those devottes requiring urgent medical attention, they will be referred to major hospitals in the nearby cities. An ambulance will be on stand by at the site for any kind of emergency requirements
 
3) Virivackal and Bhajan facilities : There will be facilities for the devottees to have virivackal and bhajans at the makeshift temple there.Toilet facilities are already build. Borewell and water tank is operational for water supply at the site.
 
4) Nearby small river is having enough water flow now for the devottees to take bath and if the waterflow is reduced necessary check dams will be build to make bathing smooth.
 
5) Temporory electric connetion and standby generator is installed so that the center will be serving the devottees during day and night.
