The more I get acquainted with the RSS, the higher gets my reverence towards the people who are all associated with it. From the day I got an opportunity to listen to Mananiya Mohanrao Bhagwat about a year and a half ago on the occasion of IT Milan, to till date my understanding of RSS has got a lot lucid. Though the candour of Mananiya Shri Mohanrao Bhagwat had demystified all my doubts, but I was yet to witness such a splendid demonstration of devotion and commitment that I viewed on June 20, 2010, my blood surged to new height of patriotism not because it was the hottest day in Delhi, but viewing the magnificient display of determination and devotion by swayamsevaks; marching the complete stretch of five kilometres with bursting enthusiasm, under the scorching heat of 44.8 degree Celsius. The courage and willpower of all the swayamsevaks was just remarkable.

We all have been watching the parades on Republic Day from our childhood and some of us get fascinated as well, then what is so special about the parade organised by RSS? The first and vast difference is the selflessness motive of unity. No remuneration, no official obligation, not even a part of any defense services nonetheless RSS swayamsevaks march with full fervour in uniformity rekindling the dormant feeling of nationalism of people like me.

The discipline of lines, the synchronisation of beats, the matching of feet all that was stupendous and the above all the management of the entire parade, gathering, transport, traffic control, diversions and all and that too without acquiring any formal training of management or organisational skills was impeccable. I guess, along with other qualities of simplicity and dedication the attribute of management get instilled in swayamsevaks perfunctorily as they become a part of RSS.
