Sri Adheesh Kumar was suffering from cancer for the last couple of years. His parents and other family members besides scores of Sangh activists were by his side when he breathed last.

Last rites will take place on 6 July at 11 AM at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi. Sarsanghachalak sri K.S. Sudarshanji and others will be present to pay respects to the departed soul.

After B Sc and BL Sri Adheeshji became a Sangh Pracharak during the Emergency and worked for about 30 years. He started his Pracharak work from Uttar Pradesh and successfully discharged various responsibilities. His tenure as the Prachar Pramukh of Uttar Pradesh region saw Sangh work penetrating into the realm media far and wide. He also worked at various levels in the ABVP before taking to Sangh work.

For the last couple of years he had been holding the responsibility of the Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh.
A fiery and forceful orator, Sri Adheeshji traveled across the length and breadth of the country motivating countless RSS activists until disease brought to a grinding halt his whirlwind travel.
Even when he was confined to the bed he never missed an opportunity to meet and interact with the Sangh activists. Nor did he miss a single day’s Prarthana. Despite knowing the gravity of his illness he never allowed it to overpower him. He would discuss the organisational matters at length and in detail with Adhikaris as if nothing had happened to him. Thus, despite serious illness, he traveled to many State headquarters and addressed Sangh activists. He had such a strong will power that nobody would know that he was suffering from such a deadly disease unless specifically told.
Sri Adheeshji was actively involved in the planning of celebrations on the occasion of 150th anniversary of 1857 War of Independence. Since he was very knowledgeable about the 1857 War, he was requested to pen a book on that, which he could not complete despite his strong wish as the fate willed otherwise.
As per his wish, Sri Adheeshji’s eyes were donated to an eye bank. His body is being kept in the Sangh Karyalay in Delhi for the Darshan of Swayamsevaks and others before being taken out for cremation at 11 Am on 6 July.
