RSS to pass resolution for avoiding regional hatred. Dr. Vaidya

Some sort of grievances might be there among local people regarding issues such as water distribution, state borders, language, etc but due care must be taken so that the feeling of hatred and disintegration will not creep in among the masses. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is going to pass a resolution in order to avoid such extreme situation, informed RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Dr Manmohan Vaidya in a press conference on March 15.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s apex body Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) is going to commence from March 16 in Nagpur. The press conference was organized on the eve to brief about the details of the proposed meeting.

The election for the post of Sarkaryawah is held after every three years. This election is also a major issue of this meeting, said Dr Vaidya.Informing that the discussion will also center around the programmes for the coming year, he said that the year 2013-14 is the 150th birth anniversary year of Swami Vivekananda. A number of programmes will be organized round-the-year to mark the occasion for which a committee has also been constituted. The preparations for all these activities will be made this year itself and the line of action for the same will be decided in this meeting. All these programmes will be conducted under the guidance of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.

Supreme Court has recently directed the Central Government to take initiative regarding the river joining project. When asked whether the issue will be discussed in the meeting, Manmohan Vaidya replied that the discussion may take place. Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal’s meeting is held prior to the commencement of ABPS. This meeting was held on March 15, he elaborated.

Replying to a question about the election of Sarkaryawah, he said that the election may take place on March 17. Sarkaryawah Shri Bhayyaji Joshi will present the annual report after the inauguration of the meet on March 16 and will leave the charge. Election officer will then be appointed and the election process will begin. The newly-elected Sarkaryawah will take charge on March 18.

1400 representatives from all over the country are expected to attend the meet, he informed.
Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Nagpur chief Sudhir Pathak and Vidarbha Prant Prachar Pramukh Atul Pingale were present at the press conference organized at Reshimbagh Sanghsthan.
