RSS actively working for change in Bihar
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh today said it was actively working for a change in Bihar and ridiculed media reports that the Sangh workers were playing a passive role in Bihar elections as a victory for the NDA would give a boost to BJP President L K Advani.
Asked for his reaction to the media reports to this effect, RSS Spokesman Ram Madhav said if anti-Lalu forces win in Bihar it would be in tune with the hopes and aspirations of not only the people of Bihar but the whole country.
In response to a question he said, ”The RSS did not recognise the erroneous two nation theory on which united India got divided.” On the role of the Sangh and Parivar organisations, Mr Madhav said they shared a common ideology, but each organisation worked independently and there were situations where disagreements were bound to exist. He disagreed with suggestions that the Sangh was giving directives to the BJP on who would be the next President.
