RSS ABPS from March 11-13

MANGALORE: The annual meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), the highest body for policy formulation and decision-making of Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh will be held from March 11 to 13 in Puttur. It is the first time that this meeting is being hosted in revenue taluk headquarters. As part of the ABPS, a gathering of RSS swayamsevaks got underway at the premises of Vivekananda High School, Puttur bypass road on Sunday.

More than 15,000 swayamsevaks and thousands of well-wishers participated in the Sanghik, a release from K Prabhakara Bhat, state general secretary of RSS stated here on Sunday. Representatives elected from RSS shakhas of all regions of India, state-level office bearers and national office-bearers of Sangh-affiliated organizations will attend all the three days of the ABPS meeting that will be held at Vivekananda Education Institute.

Prominent leaders from Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bharatiya Janata Party are attending the meeting.

Office bearers of Vidhya Bharati, Vijnana Bharati, Kreeda Bharati, Seva Bharati, Samskrit Bharati, Samskar Bharati, Laghu Udyog Bharati as well as leaders from Rashtra Sevika Samithi, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Deendayal Samshodhan Samsthan, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shaikshanika Mahasangh and Dharmajagaran will participate in the conclave. Reports of activities of all these organizations will be submitted in the meeting.

State-wise activities of the RSS will be reviewed. Important national issues will be discussed and necessary resolutions passed in the meeting. More than 1,200 social workers from different walks of life will participate in the meeting. RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat will address the ABPS gathering. On all these days, senior officials of the Sangh will give updates of the meeting to the public through the media.
