Nagpur, Jun 8: Centre’s policy on reservation is nothing but vote bank politics and to divide the Hindu society, RSS chief K S Sudarshan said in Nagpur on Wednesday.

“It will affect the efficiency of the talented people in the country,” he said and questioned the wisdom of reservation policy.

Sudarshan said the creamy layer among the section of society which has availed the benefits of reservation should desist from further taking the benefits of quota system.

“Will Ramvilas Paswan and those holding high posts in the government offices politely decline the benefits after availing all the benefits and reaching the creamy layer section,” he asked.

“The entire nation will be ruined by the uncalled for flames and fire of reservation,” he said.

Citing example without specific references, Sudarshan said a section of Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes have opposed the proposed reservation.

He said quoting them “our talents are undermined and are accused of taking the benefits of quota.”

“The country will have to pay the price in long run,” he said adding the dignity and self respect of the Hindus was at stake.
