Reservation to Converted Christians ; Christian groups meet their Savior- Sonia Maino
New Delhi: A Christian delegation met their ‘Saviour’ Sonia Antonio Maino for the speedy implementation of Reservation status to converted Christians. Representatives of Catholic Bishops Conference (CBCI) and National Council of Churches in India submitted the memorandum to Sonia.
According to a CBCI Press Release , The representatives reminded Sonia about the election Manifesto promises of Congress that they will provide Reservation status to converted Christians . Sonia , assured them that she will take a positive stand on the issue.
Hindu organisations and BJP had warned of severe protests and agitations if the UPA government dared to play into the hands of these Evangelist groups whose sole aim is to divide the society and Christianise Hindustan.
