The American Federation of Muslims of India (AFMI) held a reception to honor (“FRAUD”) Shankaracharya of Puri on October 18 at Hempstead in New York. Also present was the former chief minister of Gujarat and Congress leader Shankarsinh Vaghela, the Indian Consul General Parmetesh Rath and editor of Siasat, Hyderabad, Zahid Ali Khan. AFMI also honored this Swami in different other cities in USA.

We contacted Hinduism Today Magazine, USA. They have their own correspondent at Puri, India. According to them “His Holiness Neeschalanand Saraswati” is the only authorized Shankaracharya of Puri and He has never Visited USA. (The Orissa government officially recognizes Swami Neeschalananda Saraswati as the Shankaracharya of the Puri Govardhan Peeth)

On Oct 27, we received reports of Police Case filed against this “Swami” for injuring Ashok Dhingra, President-Elect of India Culture Center, Houston

“Honble High Court in Orissa unambiguously reaffirmed: “Swami Nischalanand Saraswati was the recognised Jagadguru Shankracharaya of Goverdhan Peetham and as such he has the recognised right of enjoying all legal rights and privileges and status associated with the honoured position of Shankracharaya.”

This report also says:
“It is high time that his passport is impounded, criminal cases filed against him are pursued actively and a CBI investigation launched for his possible links with Islamic fundamentalists funded by the ISI”
