Release of “Hindu Rashtra and Philosophy of Mahakavi Bharati”‏

YOGI RAMSURATKUMAR JAYANTI, Sri Bharatamatamandir Anniversary and Release of books, “Hindu Rashtra” and “Philosophy of Mahakavi Bharati” were held at Bharatamata Mandir on Sunday, 20th December 2015.

Acharya Sri H.R. Nagaraj, Founder and Head of Haridas Sangha, Bangalore, presided over the programme and Sri Ashwinikumar, Former Director of Doordarshan, Pondicherry, and Dr. Prof. Bhavani Ashwinikumar were guests of honour and addressed the gathering.

The function was preceded by Abhisheka and Alankara to Sri Bharatamata and Vedic Homa by Sri B.K. Srinivasamurthy. Sri Nagaraj spoke about the setting up of the unique temple dedicated to Bharatamata at Bangalore. Sri Ashwinikumar spoke on the spiritual and national ideals held by the freedom fighters during the struggle for freedom and the deterioration of the ideals in the post-independent India. Smt. Bhavani Aswinikumar, spoke about the efforts of Sister Nivedita Academy and Sri Bharatamata Mandir to revive and revitalize the ancient ideals.

Sadhu Prof. V. Rangarajan narrated the descent of the ideal of adoration and worship of Motherland, Hindu Rashtra, right from the Vedic period and how it inspired great kings and emperors to fight for the protection of the sacred Motherland in the historic period and the patriots and freedom fighters to sacrifice their all at the altar of the Motherland. He said Mahakavi Bharati, the poet-patriot-philosopher of modern India, inspired by the Vedic ideals, declared the adoration and worship of Motherland as the highest religion for the children of Bharat and accordingly propounded his religious, political and social philosophy.
