Rahul Gandhi’s charisma is overrated, is what many of his critics say.. And they have reasons to believe so. In Bihar election, the Yuvraaj toured and campaigned aggressively throughout the state.. But despite Rahul Gandhi’s so-called charisma, the Congress was routed in Bihar elections.. It’s performance was worst in last 10 years,.. Their seats tally reduced from 9 to just 4 seats… BJP, on the other hand, got a massive victory, with almost 90% strike rate!!!!

In recent assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi’s ‘youth’ team failed miserably,.. In Tamil Nadu, all of the nine Youth Congress nominees lost. The losers included state Youth Congress president M Yuvaraj and Indian Youth Congress general secretary Jothi Mani. In Kerala, out of the 18 nominees, only six have won. Results were no different in Puducherry where losers included S Muthukumarasamy for whom Rahul himself campaigned aggressively. Rahul Gandhi had spent considerable amount of time in the past couple of years, reaching out to the youth in colleges to enroll them in the Youth Congress and holding organisational elections.

In Tamil Nadu, wherever Rahul Gandhi campaigned, Congress lost all those seats miserably.. With the massive drubbing that the Congress received, it finished with just 4 seats in its kitty, from Tamil Nadu..

In Kerala, it was expecting a smooth sail.. Party was expecting to win easily up to 90+ seats.. At the end though, the UDF scraped through to a simple majority with the Congress on its own getting 38 seats as against CPM’s 45. The communal partners of Congress, i.e, Kerala Congress (M), a Christian party and the Muslim league, IUML, will now be seen dictating terms to the Congress party..

The media, has been all praise for the Rahul Gandhi, all through these years. Wherever he may go, media will always be first to reach that spot.. So much that, even Rahul having a bite of road-side samosa, didn’t miss their camera lenses,..!!! All this, makes one really wonder whether this drama is stage-managed by this paid media..!! Whatever the pay-roll media of Congress may say, its now amply clear that Rahul Gandhi’s charisma is grossly exaggerated, and he cannot at all win any elections for Congress.
