Protest by Hindu front over mining activity at holy hill in Thiruvannamali

There was massive uproar and protests against Iron Ore mining at Shiva Pilgrim center and Holy Hill of Thiruvannamali in Tamilnadu

Protesters were lead by Advocate T S Shankar also district president of Hindu Munnani.

Talking over phone he informs us that the next phase of agitation will go ahead despite government crackdown and denial of permissions.

He reminded that in this election time, this misstep of the government will be a cost to pay and vowed to organised awareness meetings all over Tamil nadu mobilizing Shiva bakhts and Hindus, as well as Environmental lovers to save the Holy Hill from defilement and devastation by mining activities.

Swadeshi Jagaran Manch Tamilnadu convener Nambi Narayan expressing solidarity for the sacred cause, stated that soon they would hold a Google Hangout to raise awareness about the danger to the most sacred place for Tamils and millions of Hindus world over.
