Protect Ram Setu : Road-Rail block begins all over country

MUMBAI : Rameshwaram Ram Setu Raksha Manch begins three hour road-rail blocks all over  the country today morning in protest against the UPA government’s decision to demolish Ram Setu.   



According to the latest information available, thousands of activists from various Hindu organizations all over the country are participating the agitation.


 


In Kerala, thousands of Hindu Aikiya Vedi activities are taking part in the agitation and blocked all major roads and rail. In the capital, five major roads are blocked by the activists & demonstrations are still going on.  


 


In Mumbai agitation organised in the neighbouring Navi Mumbai, Thane and Dombivali and Kalyan in the Thane district.



The protection of the ancient bridge is not only associated with the religious sentiments, but also necessary for protection of the huge thorium deposits around it.
