Probe terrorist link of Sohail Amin ; Proprietor of Amin Explosives

Thiruvananthapuram: When Bomb blasts are reported from any where in the country – Amin explosives in Nagpur owned by Sohail Amin is in the dock.

After Hyderabad twin blasts investigating agency had grilled Sohail Amin, but later released for lack of evidence. Now it has been revealed that the explosives used by Jihadi’s in cheriyathura riot in Thiruvananthapuram also came from this factory owned by jihadi.

The Crime Branch, with evidences unearthed by the Forensic Department, has concluded that the Neogel 90 used in the clashes was manufactured by Nagpur-based Amin Explosives Private Ltd. Amin Explosives of Nagpur is one of the leading makers of explosives of quarry and mine standards in the country but the company is said to have no unit in Kerala.  

Neogel 90 is an ammonium nitrate-based explosive used for industrial purposes. The remains of the explosive, including Neogel, were collected from about 30 spots in the Cheriyathura-Beemapally areas by the Crime Branch and forensic scientists.

Petroleum and Explosives safety organisation which issues certificates to produce explosives in the country which is under Ministry of Commerce and Industry should suspend the licence issued to this Jihadi and probe into the Terrorist network linked to this factory
