“Politicians are not national assets that need to be protected.”

SPG is exclusively meant for providing security to the PM & members of the Gandhi family. Interestingly, the SPG budget is Rs 180 crore. NSG, which is meant to protect over a billion Indian people from terror, has a budget is Rs 158 crore. In addition more than Rs 250 crore is spent to protect our corrupt politicians, in the name of VIP security. The Delhi High Court recently stated, “Politicians are not national assets that need to be protected.” These politicians, who are enjoying this cover, are unable to protect the lives and limbs of the ordinary people from terrorist attacks. A major part of tax-payers money is being spent to protect them. Politicians are bleeding the exchequer.
