Police tortured Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur

Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur who was arrested on false charges in connection with Malegaon blast as directed by the ruling congress government, on Monday told the court that she was tortured and ill-treated by the police.



 




Mujhe maloom nahin mera kasoor kya hai (I do not know what is my crime),” Thakur told the court. She requested the court to provide her a Hindi translation of the submission made by her lawyers, as she does not understand English.



 

Another accused Major (retd.) Ramesh Upadhyay,

told the court that he was not even allowed to send letters seeking legal help to his family in Pune. He alleged he was not allowed to contact his family and this was against the principle of natural justice.



 


Shiv Sena & other Hindu activists gathered outside the court and shouted slogans in support of Sadhvi Pragya Singh who was the first to be arrested by the ATS on basis of false allegations  


 


Meanwhile various group of Hindu sadhus from Uttar Pradesh today staged a demonstration at the assembly complex, accusing the Congress party for touring Hindu leaders on false cases.


 

Sadhvi Divya Giri of the Mankameshwar temple, Lucknow, accused the ATS of mentally harrasing Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur.  


 

‘Not even a terrorist in the country has been subjected to repeated narco-analysis tests as the ATS has been doing with Pragya. This is a conspiracy of the government to woo the Muslim voters,’ said Divya, who says she and Pragya are disciples of the same guru.
