Parliamentary Standing Committee rules out construction of Aranmula airport

The Parliamentary Standing Committee has rules out the construction of the proposed Greenfield International Airport project initiated by Chennai’s KGS Group.

 The committee has made it clear that the proposed project has flouted all existing norms. “The airport project has contravened the existing norm which states that two airports cannot come up in a distance of 150 kms,” said the PSC.
