P.Parameswaran slams Govt. for visa denial to Taslima
Thiruvananthapuram:Bharathiya Vichara Kendram Director,P.Parameswaran. Slammed Central govt’s stand to deny the visa extension for Taslima Nasreen,the renowned writer from Bangladesh.
Our great culture had given protection to all the refugees who knocked our door since ages. Jews, Parsi’s, Dalai lama were all been once refugees in our great country and this partiality shown to Taslima Nasrin to appease certain fanatics is humiliating to the whole nation, He added.
The present stand shows the cowardice of present Government and he wondered why the human right activist and secularist’s in the country keep silence regarding this issue.
Taslima is in Kerala in connection with the release of Malayalam translations of her four books – Lajja, Phera, Anthasulla Nunnakkal (Shodh) and Ente Penkutti Kalam (Amar Meye Bela). Her books depicts the Human right violation against Hindus, particularly Hindu Women in Bangladesh.
Through one way the government is issuing citizenship to lakhs of Bangladeshi terrorists and in a genuine case as of Taslima, who is facing Death threat from Islamic Terrorists over there minority appeasing congress closes their eyes. This ill faith happens to a woman when India’s Governance is in the hand of another woman!
